The craft group started years ago when several women got together to make baby quilts to be presented at baptisms. Over the years the craft group also designed and worked on other creative projects for our church. We made banners for the sanctuary and sewed larger quilts as gifts for various people. Individual members in our group have been responsible for sewing altar cloths, tablecloths, napkins and knitting prayer shawls. We meet at St. Albans, the third Monday of each month, from 7:00 to 9:00. Some people bring projects from home and with the help and encouragement from group members they find motivation to complete those half finished creative endeavors. Others piece and stitch baby quilts. We love to share and show our work as we enjoy lively conversation. No experience is necessary! Come join us!
